HOW WE HELP

Respite

Giving Caregivers a Break Through Respite Care

Respite

Respite is a short-term solution for individuals living in private homes. We provide care when the primary caretaker is absent or in need of relief.

We supervise and support individuals living in private homes on a short-term basis for planned or emergency situations, giving the primary caregiver a period of relief. Respite cannot be provided to a minor child while the primary caregiver is working.

Both 15 Minute Respite and Day Respite are available. Day Respite is provided for periods of 16.25 hours or more, while 15 Minute Respite is provided for periods of 16 hours or less.

PathWays AWC services are self-directed.
