Do you have a waiver under the Office of Developmental Programs or base funding through your county?
If yes, skip step 2.
Contact your county to get on the waiting list for a waiver.
Identify someone to act as the Managing Employer.
This person should meet the following requirements:- Be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must not have been convicted of a felony or a crime that would disqualify them from becoming a Managing Employer (contact PathWays if any questions).
- Participate in all required training sponsored by the Office of Developmental Programs and PathWays
- Sign any and all agreements with the Office of Developmental Programs and PathWays related to the AWC FMS option.
- Agree to perform all the tasks outlined in Section A of Bulletin 00-08-08.
- Agree to work with the Supports Coordinator to develop and revise the individual’s ISP as needed and required and participate in the required ISP monitorings.
Call us, or have your Supports Coordinator contact us in order to complete the new intake paperwork. We’re happy to meet in your home or another place that’s most convenient.
Have the Managing Employer complete the intake process and undergo training with PathWays. This will take approximately one hour.
Have any identified employees complete the new hire paperwork and become qualified by PathWays.
The county will approve the services in the ISP as submitted by the Supports Coordinator.
PathWays will contact you to begin services.
